They know youaren't Pakistani and that you couldn't possibly know what to expect. If it is anything like Morocco, at such parties usually only married women can get the full hands and feet treatment, so you will probably be doing a lot of stuff for hands. If you want to save space, bring books of hand designs. When i did a Sikh wedding i was surprised at the kinds of designs that people chose. The bride wanted pure Navneet, but the other women and girls were divided. Half of them wanted to pick stuff out of my books and half just told me to do whatever. When I was in Morocco and in situations like this, most people wanted anything BUT Moroccan designs; my point is that you might be surprised in that they don't want the kind of designs you would expect, so bring a wide wide variety. Also, if there are going to be a lot of people make copies of your books (focusing on hand designs) and laminate them or put them in binders so that there are a bunch to pass around. Oh, and one more thing...please report back to us and tell us everything about it. i am very curious to know how it went and to know what it is like at a Pakistani Ramadan party. Knock 'em dead!
