How to make henna aftercare balm

I would really like to be able to make some henna after care balm, can someone here advise me how to do it?
Do i just mix beeswax and shea butter?

Its easy! You can do it in the microwave. My recipe is one part butter (like shea or cocoa) one part bees wax, and one part "soft" oil like olive. Melt them in the microwave, give a little time to cool so its comfortable to touch, add EOs if you want, then pour into tins or lip balm molds.
The recipe above makes a fairly soft balm. You may want to use a little more wax to make them more firm. To test for hardness, while the mix is still hot drizzle a couple drops on the counter. It will cool fast and solidify. If its too hard add more butter or soft oil. If its too soft add more bees wax.
You can also make a vegan version by substituting the beeswax with vegetable waxes.
