Contest Proposal

If it hasn't been done yet...I propose a winter blues contest where each artists henna onto her dominant hand with her/his non-dominant hand. An any copied design category, and own design category. Winners get bragging rights.

Other sites may have contests, but I very strongly discourage contests on HP ... and don't permit them at Hp events.
If you'd like to invite people to a challenge ........ that's fine. Its a good thing to present a challenge where everyone goes for their personal best.
Contests for winners? No, please. Perhaps some other forum would like to host a contest where there is one winner and lots of losers. I prefer that there simply be everyone striving to be their very best.

LOL,,, I will give it a shot,, im left handed and have been trying to use my right hand,, got lazy and tired of it,, but i have always wanted to be ambidextrious.. cant wait to see what folks come up with .. wish me luck ; )

Theme for Sharing?

Ok Catherine. Thats totally understandable. I was just thinking it would be fun to do and see what we all manage with our other hands. How about we call it a theme for sharing?

I'm going to have to break down and do something! I've been striving to keep my skin clear for some amazing henna for pregnancy pics. I guess one little full on palm design wouldn't spoil anything...lol

Y'know, I was always surprised by how easy it was for me to henna my right hand (dominant) using my left. And I'm nowhere near ambidextrous. I don't think I could normally write or draw with my left hand to save my life (at least not well) but henna went okay, for some reason.
Can't find any good pics, though. It seems I usually did keep my more complex designs for my left hand (application with right).
