"Left Overture"
If you do a pattern with "terped henna", and leave it on overnight, it will darken over two or three days.  If you save your leftover paste from the first application, the paste will gradually begin to demise during those days.   Take that leftover paste and make a second application and leave it on the skin for 15 minutes. The slightly demised paste will leave a brilliant orange stain contrasting the dark brown stain from the first application.
