How do you actually mix Indigo?

You take a shot glass, fill it 1/3 of the way and then add 1/4 to 1/3 of a teaspoon of Ancient Blue indigo crystal. It will settle to the bottom and a dark metallic looking scum will form on the top in about a minute. Once the scum is there, start applying it.
