Indigo for fingerpaint?

Ok, odd question, but I remember reading something somewhere about using indigo for fingerpaint, but now cant find where I read it.
Can it be done? If so, which indigo would work? I have ancient blue, and also the chunk indigo. I usually just make the paint with cornflour and food dye.

Hi, I don't thinkit would be verypractical. You'd need the solid blue indigo. The one that looks like dark blue chalk. You'd have to grind it down and mix it with a binder, it would take quite a bit of preparation.

Don't try it with Ancient Blue you'd have blue everything!

Best, Alex
