teacup inspired blue

I put this on myself today. The pattern is an adaptation of a teacup decorated with a scandavian floral design. I was feeling the indigo with this one and will not be covering it up...lol

allrighties! Keep 'em rolling!

don't you love the fade-down on indigo? .... fades to pale sky blue like old jeans, until its just a whisper of clouds. Also ... as it fades, you can learn from where the color stays the longest of how you get it right.

and, try the inside (palm side) of your arm. Usually get better stain there. The dorsal side usually has some sun damage that hardens skin and resists stain.

Yes, I do love the fade down of indigo. I think it's much prettier than henna fade down. Just having the blue on the skin is fun. I will give the palm side of my arm a whirl. I have a pretty heavy henna palm on it. I'll just have to work around it. I had a pretty good stain last week. It was really visible and clear for about 5 days. Then I scrubbed it hard so that I could indigo again today.
