I'm not the only one with this issue.
My friend never called me yesterday, so I called her, but no
reply. I just wrote her a letter telling her what I was thinking and
how I was feeling, and proposing a 60/40 split if I use her supplies,
or 70/30 if I use my own henna, Q-tips, etc.. I talked to several local
henna artists who all said that salon and booth owners wanted a 50%
cut, but settled for less when the artist countered with a lower
number. They also all told me I was still charging too little (I
inquired what they are charging for stuff just out of curiosity) even
though I raised my prices a bit, and I agree. I worked hard and still
didn't make enough! Anyway, I hope my friend the venue owner will
accept my apology for upsetting her over money. I would hate to see
this ruin our friendship.
