Henna really rocks on rayon -- dark, with no bleeding, not even with a
really soft paste -- and it doesn't even have to be the best henna in
the world. I made up a batch, hoping to henna the visiting in-laws
this week-end, and it left such a faint stain on me, I didn't even
offer. :( BUT, I decided to check and see if at least it would dye
fabric, and the rayon just sucked up the dye and looked fab. Silk
seems to be a bit pickier.
Maybe I should make hennaed wrist=rests for the computer... protective
designs and stuffed with rice or flaxseeds so they could double as
henna warmers in a pinch...
