Catherine's ammonia experiment...questions

Catherine,

I looked at the pics of the different hennas (Castle Art, Iranian
etc.) and of the design that you treated with ammonia (which was
considerably darker), and I had several questions.

1. when do you put on the ammonia? while the paste is on or after you
have removed the paste?

2. what kind of solution do you use? Do you water is down or use
common household ammonia? or do you put the ammonia in the paste
before you apply it?

3. do you still do the lemon-sugar on the paste?

I know that this has been discussed before (or at least the subject of
camel urine), but I hope everyone can benefit from a repr
