From my experience, the mortar and pestle work great. I don't have to
grind the henna, I just use the weight of the pestle (marble) to smash
the lumps. Also, I add the liquid slowly making sure to mix it all in
before I add more. It's like making a cake or cookies where you add
the flour a little at a time, mixing all the while.

I found something for babies called a "nasal aspirator" which is a
little baster (like what you use on your turkey) but it's for sucking
the mucus out of your baby's nose. It didn't work very well because
the bulb kept coming off of the nozzle. I will have to keep searching
for that perfect thing to fill my
