: That is why I like pastry tips. The are very wide except : for the hole. Kree also uses a pastry : tip that gives 3 lines at once. Kind of tricky for curves, but good : for parallel straight lines. My craft tip was neat - my hand was shaking, and all the little wavers ended up in the henna lines. In parallel! Where do you get the small pastry tips? (The only place I remember seeing pastry stuff is the local craft store, and I've hunted there.) I finally got the baby-medicine syringe - it works BEAUTIFULLY!!! (Thanks to whomever suggested it!) Only the tiniest bit of waste, and enough control to suck up most of my bowl of henna. And the thing has a little tip cover, so I can leave it part full for a while. It looks like I can fill it from the back end, too, if I wanted. I don't think the nose thing will work well - you'd either have to fill the bulb or hold it so the henna was at the bottom, and I think you'd blow a hole through the henna before the bulb emptied.
