I suppose that climate would be a factor, but both of the people
getting the henna applied commented on how cool it felt. They both
smelled it and said it smelled very herby, but I don't know what kind
of quantity of kerosene or benzene would have to be added. I think
that even a small amount would make it smell chemically though. I
know it would to me! Anyway, I just thought it was very
interesting. The other Moroccan henna work that I've seen used the
paste-type mixture that I use. Interesting, eh?
