Ah. Is it "transpore?" If so, it does tear easily. If you pull on
it, it will stretch. But if you pinch it with thumb and finger on
either side of the tear you want to make & rip at a 90 degree angle
(perpendicular to its length), it will tear very easily right along
those 'pores', as if perforated.
