I have a scar from an accident on the edge of my hand by the side of the little finger. I had 8 stitches and now have a good size scar there. The Henna there takes the darkest like on my palm. Scar tissue is thicker because of two layers of skin being pulled together to close up a wound. So there is more skin there that the dye penetrates. I don't now about other body-part scars, only about the scar that does this to me.
