I am trying to trace my ancestry and origins. Born in New Delhi, India
now I live in US. My family moved from District Mianwali,
Pakistan(Close to Khyber Pass on Afghanistan border) in 1947. Since
most of lastnames reflect either professions(like Baker, Shepherd..)
or hometowns, I suspect my forefathers to be mehndi artists. Any
information about Mianwali or 'Mehndiratta' would be greatly
appreciated!!
