I'll be happy to do up a drawing of a cataclysmic variable -- very
dense white dwarf sucking mass off a red giant with an accretion disk.
Black holes look very similar. And actually the thinking is now that
most galaxies have black holes in their centers...including ours!

Just email me and I'll send it to you on Monday. Things are going to
be kind of crazy until then.
