Yes, I agree that adding anything other than a natural substance to henna can be hazardous. We get solicited frequently from suppliers in Pakistan claiming they have 'red' and 'black' henna. Though they won't disclose the ingredients. They won't be doing any business with US. In America we need to label properly and completely to avoid any potential health complications that could arise if a person has a known allergy or sensitivity to a product. They apparently don't understand that or live in a litigous society as we do. But we are getting a sample and have an independant lab test it for us to see what's really in it. Who knows?
