Speaking only from personal experience, i do not like the premixed
tubes of paste. The very first time I did henna was with a Shelly
tube of pre-mixed henna and it really turned me off of henna...I'm
just glad I tried mixing my own. Not only was the paste really
grainy, but the color was not dark and didn't last. I think your tube
may be too old (even tho before the expiration date) and that those
things just aren't that great to begin with. Too bad since you just
had that little window of opportunity. I hope you get vacation time
again soon and can do your hands with good henna. Good
