I agree with your opinions. I wish people had a more live and let
live attitude about religions. Comparative religion can be an
enjoyable study. Think of the wars that wouldn't happen if people
weren't so hellbent on thinking everyone must believe in a
homogenized fashion as defined by any one charismatic leader. Mother
Theresa once said something to the effect that Moslems should strive
to be good Moslems, Buddhists should strive to be good Buddhists,
Hindus should strive to be good Hindus, Christians should strive to
be good Christians. She would tend to any and all who were dying and
ease their final moments. I think she had a much better grasp on
being a good/righteous/devout person than most religious leaders of
past and present.
