When I helped in the class of my 5 year old, my hennaed hands sent
the kids into a question frenzy, so, so the teacher could get on with
it, I had to sit there and tell them the what's and why's.. I told
them that the henna was to make me pretty, like some Mum,s who wore
lipstick.. That thay understood.
My 9 year old has got it sussed how to wear a design on his had in
class, and the teacher never sees it. The dress codes seem to be
pretty extreme these days even in primary school.
