When I was working with the younger elementary-aged students, the
henna was definitly a distrations and was usually hidden under my
brace; but a fair amount of the kids would come to school covered in
the decal "tattoos" which can be pretty distracting for the teacher,
especially when one is on a child's face or hands. The older kids
don't seem to care that much. One even told me I wore a brace to
keep the "tattoo" (henna) from rubbing off.
