I'd imagine so! I'm teaching college, so I'm more likely to see
wildly colored hair or piercings. Most are steady enough that they
don't bother me, but the ones on/in the mouth and eyebrows drive me
bonkers - it's really hard to pay attention to what they're saying
when there are frequent and changing glints from a shiny object on the
eyebrow, lip, or tongue. I hope I can get used to it soon - diverting
my eyes so I can focus on what they're saying probably comes across as
*not* paying attention.
