Maybe if you REALLY sifted it?

Well, I dunno... Icing is made from powdered sugar, and very finely
sifted henna seems about the same texture. I know that my paste seems
to thin a bit while it's sitting overnight. Of course I've not
compared the particles under a microscope, but maybe thinner henna
would work. The icing that comes in a canister is definitely thicker
than henna, and if that stuff works in the pen, it'd be fun to try
our favorite green goo... does that thing come with a real fine tip?
