My old hippie gardening books always recommended ladybugs as an anti-aphid treatment. Are such still available and useful? Do ladybugs still like aphids for lunch? Also, I used to stick onions and marigolds next to the roses and cabbages that were bothered with aphids .... and when the roses got aphid attacks, I'd break off onion greens and smush them all over the rose parts where there were aphids and they'd go away. Paint the henna with onion juice? Sorry I didn't remember that before, it's been a few decades since I thought about that.....
