read Catherine's harquus recipe post and tried it several
times without any luck. My frankincense had problems melting, it
bubbled and cooked. When I did get it to melt it was too hot to apply
to the skin even though the mix was a good consistency. It seems to
stick to metal well and have a shiny surface but its too hot for my
skin.

Quoting Catherine's other post about harquus.
Have you found another recipe that will work at a lower temperature?
I've wanted to make a historical harquus since I saw women wearing
them at a dance workshop several years ago. Theirs looked like paint
or eyeliner to me though. Would you email me some patterns please?

Thanks,

Natalie
