Welcome back.

Can't help you with the Xena patterns (they ARE fab, aren't they?)

But I know about sifting. Sifting through pantyhose is a pain.
Stiffer fabric like nylon chiffon worked better... I found using a
universal coffee filter worked even better -- hard surface with fine
plastic or gold mesh was easier to spoon against.

Then I found sifting Nirvana...The sift-o=matic is not a joke. It's a
wonderful device that sifts 100g of henna in no time at all (plus all
the shaking builds your triceps). Jed Hansen is the inventor/
seller:email is: pangloss@mnic.net

And there's also a contingent on the Forum of extremely devoted Dairy
Queen sundae(cup) sifters, but they'll have to give you the details.

Sifting makes a huge difference -- no more clogs! You can use fine
tips and get teeny, tiny lines for great frilly detail. Don't give up
on sifting!

And good luck w/Xena patterns
