This design was inspired by the pic in November's National Geographic. This is the first time I used Catherine's carrot bag... I LOVED IT!!!! Thank the lord I cut the tip right the first time (at an angle with the seam as the very tip). I didn't have any clogs, and the paste came out as a very thin *ribbon*. The ribbon gave me a choice as how to lay it on the skin. I got extra fine lines by keeping the seam up and the ribbon would lay on it's side on the skin. Then to fill in thicker areas all I had to do was lay the ribbon flat... I was never able to get such thin lines before because the bottle or cone tip would clog or be too thick. Any other time that I've cut a tip, it was perpendicular to the bag and the paste came out as a cylinder. Now I know better. With that one seam on the carrot bag, it held the shape of the angle to a point which helped make the fine lines... I am now a bona-fide cone user. No more messing with those bottles. If the bottle tips came angled, then maybe, but until then the bottles I have are going to hold ketchup... Thanks Catherine! If I run out of carrot bags, you'll be hearing from me soon after! *smile*
