Hello, all.
I swear, I did not mean to offend ANYONE!!! I was trying to let you
know about HOMESTEAD.COM, because I have been seeing so many goog
things on my web page, and it's not even up all the way yet!!! I
want to invite everyone to VISIT only, I never said I an not
SUPPORTING Jeremy, anyway. Why so quick to assume? I am new to this
page, and I LOVE this site!!! I have absolutly NO complaints!!!
Just trying to help him in fact. If you feel anything other than
that, I am sorry. I will help as much as possible, and have even
been emailing the URL to all my friends! I have told them about the
problem with the site, and we ARE trying to pool together and see how
we can help, thats ALL. I told all my friends that I am not sure how
long they can post, so to keep it brief. They suggested (several of
my friends, that is) that instead of having such a huge web page,
forum, etc., that maybe on one page you can have just a list of
links, tone it down to a few photo sites, and I feel thats not going
to work. But, with my pages I get for free, I would LOVE to have you
link into it and use it as you will. Just email me for the URL and I
will give you the password and you have two pages for free from me.
Maybe some others here on this site will do the same, and then we can
all link up together and have a HUGE website! Anyway, again, I meant
NO OFFENSE, so please, go easy on me. I truly want to have a site
that is informative, fun, full of hints and tricks, as well as photos
and patterns. I would love to help, Jeremy. Please, lets ALL put
our heads together here and get this going! By the way, I am a
Muslim and read the post from the annon. person, (TROLL was a good
word, CWJ) and yes, Muslim's look down on men doing Henna all the
time, but on marriage and eids, they will sometimes do the thumb or
palm. Anyway, that was so uncool to make all of us muslims look bad
to be that HARSH.
As usual, I couldn't have said it better myself.

: The reasons for avoiding free sites are simple. They either want to
: load your site up with advertising, or they can't cope with the
150+
: megabytes that the site takes up (of which a third is the forum
: archive), or they are just too slow, or they don't give free access
: to scripting facilities to permit the forum to stay looking how it
: is, or most often a combination of these.

: Most of the other forum designs out there are transient. By
: maintaining control of the scripts and the site, I can keep the
: entire archive on-line. And I can stick with this particular forum
: script. Many people have commented that they like the way it works,
: when compared with the more modern designs.

: Incidentally, for those wondering why the long wait for the new
site,
: it is getting closer by the day. I've spent well over 150 hours on
: the development so far, but I'd rather spend a few more, than leave
: any area of the site looking less good than it does now. Most of it
: already looks a lot better (in my opinion and that of those who've
: had sneak previews).

: And for those who've sent in sponsorship money, don't worry. Your
: year starts from the day I launch the new site, not the day I
: received your cheque.
