"Traditional"(toothpick) henna

Hi Folks! I recently tried applying henna the traditionnal way (w/a
toothpick) and I was just wondering if anybody had any tips? I am used
to using a cone, so I wasn't sure exactly how to do it. I honestly
can't get this technique right!
