A friend of mine painted himself with fake woad (blue food dye and
magic markers) because of that.
I dared him to show up for Halloween as an authentic Celtic warrior,
so he did. Unfortunately, the ambient temperature was about 55
degrees, so he got pretty uncomfortable, and caught a cold.
