Could be shoes .... my dad advised me not to wear shoes that could
make a loud sound when you walk in order to avoid attention to go your
way. I'm not too sure but I think certain cultures does not allow
females to wear high heel shoes (for more reason than just health).
Ankle bracelet is another thing (especially the ones with tiny bells).

(I have 3 inch stilettos but my sneakers are still my best friend :-))
