OOOH that is a good idea! I'll have to give that a try too! : I know I have posted this suggestion before, but here is how I make my : transfers. Get a medium or soft charcoal pencil from the art/craft : store, and tracing paper. Trace your design with these making sure to : lay down a good amount of coal on the paper (keeping in mind that : whatever you trace will come out backwards when applied, so reverse : letters or chinese characters first), give the skin a quick swipe with : alcohol (not too wet), apply transfer coal side down and peel it up. Ta : Da! A clear, dark line to follow. The charcoal is powdery enough that : the henna soaks through it great, the pencils & paper are cheap, the : paper is nice & thin so it goes around curves well. It is great to be : able to exactly copy the designs from my book so the customer gets : exactly what they want, and if they don't like the placement of the : design you can move it BEFORE any henna goes on! You can also sketch : right on the skin with the charcoal pencils for guidence if you are : wingin' it. I'd like to try the embroidery pencil too, and see how it : works for me. Maybe I'll like it better.
