ALWAYS beware of those suppliers who do not give you complete detailed
ingredients of the products they sell, the ingredients should be
listed in order of percentage of inclusion...1st (and most) ingredient
2nd, 3rd etc., i.e. black paste.
Any law abiding importer of overseas products knows the importance of
proper labeling for US entry/Customs regulations. If you do buy or
receive an item without proper ingredient labeling, either question
your supplier or get your money back.
Off subject sort of, but the whole FDA hoopla began when henna powder
imported in from Pakistan was labeled 100% HENNA POWDER, when in fact,
upon further testing, contained lead AND arsenic. Real nasty. Sooo,
reputable exporters of overseas products (if they want to stay in
business) know the importance of properly labeling their wares.
And we who import (reputable ones who want to stay in business:-) also
label on our end further...on to the consumer. BTW, Indian henna is
the best in our opinion.

As other 'poster' mentioned, henna for hair is just that. For hair.
