I couldn't read the original post on this string, but did want to reply with some info. I agree with Catherine and want to add that you won't want to add ANY essential oils to the mix! Essential oils are not safe to use during pregnancy. Strong, regular tea is about the only thing you can still add to your henna mix during pregnancy. I would also encourage a patch test first. Even if you used henna prior to pregnancy, the hormone shifting makes many women extra sensitive to all kinds of things that didn't bother them before. I'm a massage therapist specializing in pregnancy/labor support. I've heard all kinds of horror stories about women breaking out from their regular lotions during pregnancy. It's not worth risking it.
