If you've been using chemicals to dye your hair or perming it ....DO NOT put henna in your hair. The acidic dye of henna often reacts with the remnants of the alkaline synthetic dyes, and can throw your hair into martian green or tar pit black. You may need to let it grow out before you henna. My daughter says the fastest way to get your hair grown out is to take prescription pre-natal vitamins. Wearing your hair in a chignon all the time helps ..... I just brush it lightly, braid it with a long piece of silk, and wind it up into a bun on one chopstick. That's it. I suppose that does keep it away from sun and wind, but I mostly do that to keep from slamming it into the car door (and dragging it down the freeway) I don't have a photo.
