:Cathrine, thank you for your response. I have been looking over the other entries in the forum and I was wondering if I could ask you a few more questions. I don't want to sound paranoid or be too reactionary, but I also don't want to take something serious too lightly. I was reading over the PPD health warning as you had advised and the phrase "Material is irritating to mucous membranes and upper respiratory tract" jumped out at me. My fiance (who also had a black henna tatto done, although with no noticable effects) and myself have both been having what we thought was a bad chest cold or bronchitios, you know, hurts to breathe, can't draw a full breath, non-productive cough, etc. I'm sure you can see the connection that I'm making, and I guess I just need a little reassurance that the two things are not related. Respiratory problems would only result from inhalation, right? The second thing that I would like to ask is about treatment. Since I am already treating the burn, is it necessary to go back to a doctor? (After my last experience I am a little wary, and a lot poorer) Would they be able to do anything? And finally, do you think a detoxifier tea or something of the sort would help to clear up the burn symptoms more quickly? The steroid cream is doing NOTHING for the itching and I am about to lose my mind! Again, thank you for your time and for all of the help and information!
Wendy P.S. We are going back to Venice Beach this weekend to speak to the man who gave us the tattoos. I also plan to do a "show and tell" to any of his potential customers. Print out the "black henna" warnings page link above.! Print out the : link below, PPD health warnings! : YOU DO have had ppd, a transdermal toxin, applied on your skin, and : this is SERIOUS! Go back to your doctor (or find a new one with half : a brain). Take them the two printouts! Do not wait. Take care of : your health today! This is serious!
: Can you go back to the #$%&^* who did this to you? Show him what he : did to you. Show him the two printouts. Let him know, and his boss, : if he works somewhere, that he is RUINING his own health and : endangering other people.
