Please understand that peoples' namecalling/anger are not so much
directed at you than at the ongoing evils of "black henna". You show
your true humanity by being willing to listen despite some harsh words
(which, since no one knows you, are anger at "black henna" - a threat
to us all). You are also doing yourself, your kids, and everyone a
favor by stopping using the black death.
It sounds like you have some good body art skills - hooray! that's
rare! If you stick to real henna (try Body Arts in Ojai, it's my
favorite) you will have nothing but good karma and money rolling in.
Look around this site for recipes, or ask Catherine (or another of the
countless experts here). With this henna and socks on overnight my
hands and palms turn a black-cherry color, far more interesting and
attractive in their variations than boring old black, which is meant
to be something it's not (tattoos) anyway. Henna is far older than
tattoos, and it's tied to a lot of wonderful womens' traditions. If
