Listen, if you truly change your mind and decide to not use ppd in
your henna or any other crazy chemicals, then you should be
commended. And please excuse me for your attack on you. It's just
burns me that there are people out there that try to justify their
use of ppd for "noble" means -- such as feeding their children --
when there are so many better alternatives out there than harming
innocent people. If you were ignorant to the facts, then it's time to
learn and apply what you learn in your practice.
Yes, you are right. You didn't deserve to be maligned. I am at fault
to have done it. You are the first person I have seen on here that
has tried to uphold the safety of PPD, and believe me, the poo hit
the fan.
What you may not know is that most cases that we've seen that have
had bad reactions to "black" henna have come from tourist traps such
as Ocean City, Key West, Venice Beach, and heavily traveled Middle
Eastern countries. And the culprit for the damage has been narrowed
down to PPD.
I was ready to go down fighting if you would have persisted in not
seeing the damage being caused. So let me wipe the dust off and
apologize to you.
