I quite agree. I have 2 rather large ones, a ankh with a scarab on my
shoulder, and a wolf with beaded indian feather on my ankle. (Have
you noticed most of us have permanant tattoos but choose to do
henna?) While I was getting my wolf done in the shop the guy and his
assistant was inquiring about my henna that covered my hand. The
assistant called "it sexy as hell for women to henna their hands."
Then here comes one of the other tattooist and starts trashing henna.
One of the comments was "You still do that? I thought that died out
years ago. And it has to sit on there forever." Argh....Meanwhile I'm
in the middle of a 3 hour tat. Let's see 3 hour pain or 6 of henna
painfree. Go fig which is better..I guess some think just because
they permantly mark someone they're superior but every time one makes
the comment on it being a fad. I just remember I'm not inflicting
pain and permanace. I HAVE a artistic ability, and henna will
probably outlast the tattoo fad! HUMPH.. I think I'm done for now.
