Greetings,
I am too cheap to buy the special paper (even my pencil was given to
me by my tattoo guy...lol). But I used to use tissue paper, like you
stuff in a box or bag for packing. I would draw/trace the design on
the tissue paper. Then I would put a little...teeny tiny amount of
oil on the skin, and place the transfer (purple side to the skin) on
the skin and pat down. Sometimes I would go over the paper transfer
w/ a cotton ball of oil (again very teeny amount). Then give it a
rub and remove the transfer.

Before you break into that spend paper...experiment on tissue or even
copier paper, just to get the feel of how to get the transfer going.
