Here's a funny and true story -- I flew from seattle to vancouver bc
to do a wedding. on my return, I was standing in line and a pretty
little yellow lab came up to me and started wagging her tail. i bent
down to pet her and heard an ominous disembodied voice - STEP AWAY
MA'AM, THE DOG HAS DETECTED THE SCENT OF NARCOTICS! The female
officer went through ALL of my stuff and found only my henna stuff
which I explained to what it was for -- she seemed a little dubious
until one of the other customs agents came over and said - oh, that's
that stuff they use at indian weddings!
So they let me go! I'm sure it was the eucalyptus oil, which I still
had on my hands. The dog had made a beeline to my hands, not my bags.
SO BE CAREFUL GOING OVER BORDERS WITH YOUR DANGEROUS HENNA KIT!
