Feline Henna Helper.....

Okay. Does anyone else out there have a cat that likes to "help"
them henna? Apparently one of my cats is attracted by the scent of
the henna and absolutely MUST be in my lap when I'm working on my
hand or ankles. He doesn't seem to be interested in tasting it, but
LOVES to smell it, thus making it VERY difficult to work. Short of
locking him out of the room and listening to him cry and tear up my
carpet, any suggestions?????
