Re: ScammersPosted by Lynn on July 3, 2001 at 12:42:15: In reply to: Scammers posted by Lauren on July 2, 2001 at 21:34:39: Thanks Lauren, I do have an aftercare sheet - half a side of A4, goesinto a lot of detail. On top of that I always tell people who have designs at the top of their arms not to keep pulling the top of their arm round to look at it as it stretches the skin and the dry henna could fall off. So, she was in doubt about how to care for it, in fact I'm sure I remember this woman because she was foreign and told me about having been married twice, the first time she had black henna from Egypt (I posted about it last week), which she peeled off, I told her all about PPD and that you don't peel off henna, she said I should try and get hold of some of the stuff. None of it really adds up about this woman - I'm going to write to her, refund her money and tell her if she is ever at an event I will re-do her daughter. Ahh, the highs and lows of henna on the streets!!!! Lynn: It sounds to me like it "just fell off" in about ten days, which is : what I'd expect Mud to do. If she's right, it's because of something : she did, like pick it off right away, put lotion on, or go swimming : right after, which is not your responsibility. I'd offer to give her : a discount at the next event just for customer-relations (i.e. to : keep her from spreading bad gossip because you weren't fooled by her) : and I would make sure to go over with her how to keep a good stain : on. I hand out an aftercare sheet which tells people what to do and : what not to do to keep a stain and people really like them. You may : want to consider making one up to make sure everyone gets all hte : info they need while you're in the middle of a decorative frenzy.
