After 8 minutes I wiped it all off. Next, I put a concave diamond in the center of the circle and small diamonds between the hearts but a little further outwards from the center. I left that on for another 10-15 minutes (I lost track), and wiped it off. Finally, I outlined the circle, the hearts and diamonds, and did the rest of the design. I applied lemon sugar, wrapped my hand with toilet paper and went to bed. After scraping it all off the following morning I added more paste to fill in a couple of spaces I had left open on my finger. I wanted to compare filling in color after the main design with the filled in color done first. Can't see a difference between the two. I didn't get the same effect that you did, where filling in over the design lighted the previous henna. I like the differences in color but everything looks a little smeared and not as fine as I would have liked. Need more practice! I'll post a picture as soon as I find a place to put it. Next time I'll try it your way and see how that works. How old are the various pastes that you use? Regards, Marina
