Its probable that he has a very alkaline constitution. I wish therewere a way to tell in advance and to correlate alkalinity/acidity
with the likelihood of a good stain, unfortunately, what you did is
the only way. When I have a customer who doesnt stain and its obvious
they have understood and followed instructions, I offer them a gift
certificate to pass on to someone else.
