Tea Tree and the deeply impatientPosted by Catherine Cartwright Jones on July 24, 2001 at 00:38:57: In reply to: Pine vs. Tea Tree essential oils. Tea Tree wins. posted by Faery Ring on July 23, 2001 at 23:36:43: To de-funk your Tea Tree:Geranium oil, Geranium bourbon oil, Neroli, Cardamon, and the earthy, herby scents. PLAY! Find yourself an aromatherapy site that has the feelings and emotions that correlate to these eo's and mix special mixes for moods! It's not that hard to kill off the sharpness or funk of the crucial oils .... and omigod some of the mixes smelled sooooooo good! Yup, Pine oil and pine needle oil really don't have outstanding levels of the right terpines. Pinene has a nice dangly H but it doesn't have that magic O-H off a corner! I'm not fooling about the one hour stains! More testing is needed, but time after time, a chunk flaked off before the rest, and lost bits were only slightly lighter(if ligher at all) than areas with longer contact! For an Aries, I'm a very patient person ... but the one hour gonzo stain IS an attractive proposition!
