You are absolutely right! I don't consider mehndi to be any more
sinful than lipstick or nail polish. ( I don't know about some of
those sparkly green nail polishes, they might be evil..HA,HA)

I think the problem for some Christians might be more about what you
are trying to represent with the henna. I might have to explain to
people that I'm not a Hindu, or not trying to cast any spells or ward
off/call upon the spirit of anything. I'm just enjoying the talent
God gave me, and appreciating the beauty of His creation.
