Lifespan of a cajeputted henna paste

I recently did a very unscientific experiment to test the lifespan of
terped paste. I didn't do side-by-side (some day) but just everyday
application of the same paste.

I made my usual cajeput enhanced paste on Friday, July 27th around
midnight and let it sit overnight. I used some of it at a gig on
Saturday night (July 28th) and gave the leftovers (still in the j-
bottle) to my assistant to play with. She did designs with it every
day between now and yesterday (Aug. 2) which is one week after I
mixed it. All of the designs on various parts of her body came out
equally dark, but the ones she did last night (Aug. 2 - 7-day old
paste) came out a little light.

This is nothing definitive (I will need to do side-by-side testing
with written notes and labelled bottles to record it all) but it is
interesting as an anecdote. I think it is amazing that this terped
paste can still be going strong on days 5 and 6...those usually ended
up in my leftover plastic tub which will eventually be used on my
hair.

What are others out there finding in terms of the life expectancy of
their paste? I am very curious to know.
