takes longer for terped paste to darken

Has anyone noticed that it takes longer for the terped paste to
darken. The rose i did on my daughters leg was a nice brownish color
when I scanned it at 24 hours after paste removal....but...I came
home from work today and it has darkened to a nice choclate brown (36
hours after paste removal.
Anyone getting these same results?
